On 23rd January Y2Y’s multiplier event was held in Seville with more than 70 attendees, among which there were people from the municipalities involved in the project, as well as a number of experts in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, and a good number of Young entrepreneurs interested in the project.
The program started with the official opening on the part of Mrs. María del Carmen Castreño, Delegate of Economy of the city of Seville, who was accompanied by FAMP’s General Secretary, Mrs. Teresa Muela. After that, the program has included a number of roundtables and presentations by experts throughout a morning and afternoon sessions.

The first of the roundtables dealt with the issue of creative thinking on the part of Young people, and how ith raises a challenge for youth workers and professional practitioners in charge of guiding and assesing these Young people towards entrepreneuring. Different points of view were considered in this issue, such as the point of view of trainers (university), creativity (businessman), talent management (skill coach), human resources (psicologist), investment in creativity (business angels), and innovation management (project manager).

The central part of the program was the presentation of the IO1, which was made through the presentations by Mr. Carlos Franco, expert assigned to the development of IO1, and Mrs. Inmaculada Guerrero, the project manager in FAMP. Together with the results and conclusions of the research carried out with municipalities, information about next milestones in the project, such as the training addressed to youth workers and the business ideas competition foreseen in the project was provided.

After a break for lunch in which networking between the attendees was carried out, the afternoon session was devoted to the testimonies from Young entrepreneurs from the municipalities taking part in the project, who brought their views on entrepreneurship based on their personal experiences, pointing out to challenges and hándicaps and how they had managed to solve them.
